On Wednesday 26 May our residents at The Old Downs Residential Care Home enjoyed a ‘bake and taste’ session together.
Our ladies thoroughly enjoyed making a Victoria sponge, mixing the ingredients and filling the baking tins.
It was super to watch the process as they turned their efforts into something delicious! They filled the sponges with fresh cream and jam. It looked very professional dusted with icing sugar.
Safe to say it went down a treat with a nice cup of tea! Yummy!
