We have had two birthdays so far in June here at The Old Downs Residential Care Home and we’ve enjoyed the celebrations and sunshine.
On Thursday 1 June Margaret celebrated her 85th birthday. She had a lovely visit from her son, who stayed for lunch. She enjoyed her cards, balloons, a cake and some bubbles which she shared with our other residents
Brenda turned 91 on Tuesday 6 June when she enjoyed a delicious birthday cake and her family and friends took her out for the day.
As part of the fun we had some wonderful musical entertainment and our residents thoroughly enjoyed partying together.
