Virtual camping
On Wednesday 15 September our residents at The Old Downs Residential Care Home joined in for a day of camping in Scotland!
Our ladies and gents had a fun making Scottish bunting, colouring themed pictures and watching the classic film ‘Carry on Camping‘ of course!
One of our lovely gents John enjoyed making an actual campfire in the woods too!
We all enjoyed getting into the spirit of Scotland.
Jolly Jenga!
We also got out our Jenga blocks last week for some fun and games. Our residents loved playing games of Jenga – building the towers and taking blocks out – which is great for everyone’s focus and hand-eye coordination.
Everybody thoroughly enjoyed spending time together and playing games.
