Last week our residents joined in for a Creative Mojo session together here at The Old Downs Residential Care Home.
Creative Mojo provide an all-inclusive craft experience for our ladies and gents, working with a variety of arts and crafts materials that everyone can join in with and enjoy.
As Chinese New Year is approaching, they collaborated to create a wonderful Chinese fish collage, which looks amazing displayed in our Home.
According to Feng Shui, a fish represents wealth and prosperity because the actual word in Chinese for fish also translates to ‘abundance‘. The fish symbol is frequently used to symbolise the wish for more in the sense of ‘good luck’ and ‘good fortune’.
Well done to everyone involved in our fantastic Chinese picture – we’re sure it’ll bring us all good fortune!
