Our residents love arts and crafts activities, so they were very pleased to welcome a lovely lady from Creative Mojo recently to The Old Downs Residential Care Home.
Creative Mojo provide fun, entertaining and rewarding craft workshops – and we love them!
As you can see, our residents had a great time creating a fantastic flamingo collage from all the individual painted pieces they’d completed.
They thoroughly enjoyed the creative afternoon session and we love having their colourful picture on display.
Baking quiche
Our residents have also been creating with food recently, when they came together to make quiche.
There was a great atmosphere around the tables as our ladies and gents chopped, mixed and combined their ingredients, which included ham, mushrooms, cheese and pepper.
Their completed masterpiece looked amazing and went down very well amongst all those who sampled it. Delicious!
