Last Friday our residents enjoyed having a wonderful session with Nini from Mojo Creative Arts here at The Old Downs Residential Care Home.
The group spent time making forget-me-not flowers for a collaborative poster for Dementia Action Week, which aims to raise awareness of dementia and improve the lives of those affected by it.
Our residents had fun painting and stencilling their flowers and enjoyed the relaxing and social atmosphere.
When all their flowers were arranged together on the poster, they looked fantastic and everyone was very pleased with the completed piece – well done to all our artists!
Such a lovely activity and we are all looking forward to Nini coming again soon.
