On Wednesday 8 January we held an Elvis Presley tribute here at The Old Downs Residential Care Home to celebrate his 85th birthday.
We decked out our lounge with rock n roll decorations and were delighted to have an Elvis singer Paul Presley in to perform all the King’s old favourite songs.
What a lively show! Our residents, families and staff all thoroughly enjoyed Paul’s performance; he really looked the part in his white jumpsuit and was brilliant at interacting with everyone as he sang.
Happy birthday Elvis – we hope we did you proud!
