Our residents jumped on the latest art trend and painted onto some stones to brighten up our garden. The rainy November days won’t stop our residents from brightening up the Home!
Rhythm Class
Everyday has become a party at The Old Downs. Our activities team led a vibrant musical class full of dancing. Our Recreation and Well-Being Champion, Danielle, even brought her tap shoes with her to put on a big show and dance!
Blind taste challenge
There were lots of laughs during our blind taste challenge. One of our residents correctly identified the exact type of cheese on offer while others couldn’t tell the difference between yoghurt and jam! Definitely a challenge for some more than others!
Cheeky drinks
Our lovely gents had a nice beer and a cheeky chat at our Gentleman’s Club. While our ladies were invited to sophisticated wine and cheese event. Having said that, a fair few of the gents turned up to that one too! Best of both worlds!
Jewellery boxes
Our residents let their creative sides show with the jewellery box arts and crafts afternoon. Different styles to fit different people!
