Celebrating Larry
Staff and residents at The Old Downs Residential Care Home recently held a lively memorial for a much loved resident, Larry, who passed away last year just before the COVID-19 outbreak.
Thank you very much to Larry’s family kindly donated some money to the Home in his memory; The staff decided it would be a lovely idea to use this money and have a celebration in memory of him on his birthday.
We had a delicious BBQ which was prepared by the lovely kitchen team. Residents enjoyed sipping cocktails and mocktails, and we had a live performance by the popular singer Kevin Walsh. We also had a good boogie to the music!
