Shiver mi timbers! On Wednesday 5 May we were taken over by all things ‘Pirate’ here at The Old Downs Residential Care Home!
Some of our residents helped to make bunting for our Pirate Day, with coloured card and themed stickers, whilst others had fun colouring in pirate pictures in the morning.
In the afternoon we all enjoyed watching a virtual pantomime on our Smart TV – Treasure Island, which was great fun and very engaging.
Our ladies and gents looked very fetching in their eye-patches and masks, and loved their pirate-themed drinks; rum and cola and root beer, accompanied by some tasty bar snacks.
