Take the biscuit!
On Sunday 29 May our residents and staff joined in to celebrate National Biscuit Day at The Old Downs Residential Care Home – what’s not to love?!
To mark the occasion, our Chef Sue made delicious Viennese whirls which our residents decorated with cream and jam. Later in the afternoon we thoroughly enjoyed them with a cup of tea.

Jubilee decorations
Last week some of our residents and staff joined for arts and crafts to make decorations for the royal Jubilee party.
Our ladies and gents enjoyed making bunting with silver and purple tissue paper.
We also laminated pictures of the Queen to decorate our windows with. We are all really looking forward to the big celebration!
