Pottery painting
On Wednesday 27 July, we thought ‘Why paint on paper when you can paint pottery?’ here at The Old Downs Residential Care Home!
Our ladies and gents got creative and painted some ceramic bowls and plates with an array of colourful paints. A very relaxing activity!

Beat the heat
We know how to beat the heat in a heatwave! On Thursday 28 July we got the ice-creams out and filled up our paddling pool. Our resident Edith took one step in and said “That’s lovely!”.
Everyone enjoyed cooling off their toes and having a paddle.
We also enjoyed a coffee morning and catch up, with some relaxing classic jazz music.
