On Monday 19 September our residents and staff at The Old Downs Residential Care Home joined in to pay their respects to our beloved Queen as we watched her funeral service.
All our residents thought dearly of the Queen and we have been reminiscing about her reign.
We served a special buffet in her honour which included finger sandwiches, vol au vents, sausage rolls, cocktail sausages and of course Union Jack decorated cakes.
Thank you for your years of dedicated service your Majesty.
