Happy birthday Your Majesty
On Saturday 12 June we celebrated Queen Elizabeth’s birthday here at The Old Downs Residential Care Home.
Our residents thoroughly enjoyed a cream tea garden party, surrounded by flag bunting, with old time music favourites playing in the background.
We’re sure her Majesty would have approved!
Circus party
We hosted a circus themed party at our Home on Tuesday 15 June, with lots of music & singing!
We decorated our conservatory and served freshly made popcorn, cakes and decorated cocktails.
Daniella from our Recreation and Well-Being Team performed her record-holding sword balancing circus act and tap dancing, which was amazing!
All our staff team dressed up in circus costumes too, to bring the whole event to life. Our residents loved the lively atmosphere!
