Cheese and wine
On Monday 30 August we enjoyed celebrating International Cabernet Sauvignon Day here at The Old Downs Residential Care Home.
To mark the occasion, a group of our residents joined in for a cheese and wine tasting afternoon.
We had a variety of different cheese and crackers on offer, including brie, camembert, cheddar, smoke cheddar, edam, marmite cheddar bites and stilton cheese to complement the wine.
Everyone had a delicious afternoon!
World Beard Day
We marked World Beard Day on Saturday 4 September!
Some of our staff and residents had fun putting on beards and taking silly selfies. A very good giggle!
