On Sunday 2 May, some of our residents joined in for our Sewing Club here at The Old Downs Residential Care Home.
Recently we received some lovely handmade bags and blankets which were kindly donated by one of our neighbours, Lena Fitness.
We throughly enjoyed decorating our crochet bags; we made flowers with felt fabric and sewed buttons and beads on them, which look very effective.
Our residents love having their new handbags!
