St George’s Day
On Sunday 23 April our residents and staff joined in to celebrate St George’s Day here at The Old Downs Residential Care Home.
We began the day by decorating our Home with St George’s day flags and then in the afternoon we got together to do themed arts and crafts for the occasion – finishing off with smoothies, cocktails and cake. Great fun!
Church
Over the weekend some of our residents and staff also joined in for a Pentecostal Church service and enjoyed the pastor’s message. They also loved singing to the traditional hymns.
