St Patrick’s Day
Last week we celebrated St Patrick’s Day with some wonderful country and western entertainment at The Old Downs Residential Care Home.
Our residents always love an excuse to have a dance and party, and singer Jasmine and her partner sang some wonderful songs and really got the lively atmosphere going!
We all had such a fun time, finished off with some lovely smoothies to cool us down after all the dancing.
Fun and games
Our residents have also enjoyed their weekly games day, with snakes and ladders to start with followed by ‘eyes down’ for some sociable games of bingo together.
These games are always a big hit with our ladies and gents, with lots of laughs from everyone.
