On Sunday 2 June a group of our lovely residents at The Old Downs Residential Care Home joined in for a ‘bake and taste’ session to make their own fresh scones.
They enjoyed measuring and mixing the ingredients, and cutting out the scone shapes. After they were baked we all enjoyed them with clotted cream, jam and fresh strawberries – a real treat and absolutely delicious.
We are looking forward to our next baking adventure soon!
