Our second stop on The Old Downs Residential Care Home Cruise was India on Wednesday 10 March, when our residents enjoyed aspects of Indian culture for the day.
They started with henna-style tattoos in the morning followed by a divine Chicken Tikka Masala for lunch, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
In the afternoon our staff wore Indian styled outfits and we held our very own Indian food market, complete with a 7ft snake, shown around by our Recreation and Well-Being Champion Danielle!
Our residents had an amazing day and enjoyed every moment. We’re looking forward to travelling on to Spain in April!
