Last week we had a double birthday bash at The Old Downs Residential Care Home, when Hazel and Doreen both turned 90 within a day of each other. We had a weekend full of fun!
On Friday it was Doreen’s birthday, and we welcomed the D-Day Dollies who gave us a wonderful performance, which was amazing. On Saturday, Doreen and Hazel’s family came to celebrate with them. Both families enjoyed sandwiches, tea and cake together. It was a truly lovely day, thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
In the evening, our birthday girls spent some time with their friends here at our Home. What a lovely way to turn 90! Many happy returns ladies!
