On Thursday 6 January, we went out to Knole Park with a group of our residents from The Old Downs Residential Care Home.
Maintained by the National Trust, Knole is a magnificent 600 year old estate featuring parklands, grand courtyards and an impressive main house.
It was a glorious day with bright blue skies, so we had a very pleasant stroll, taking in the views and getting up close to the wild park’s deer – beautiful creatures.
After our walk, we tucked in to a delicious picnic together, with the Gatehouse and Great Hall as a stunning backdrop.
We all thoroughly enjoyed exploring and picnicking together!
