Barney visit
On Monday 18 September we welcomed Hazel and her lovely Labrador Barney to The Old Downs Residential Care Home.
Our residents loved petting and stroking Barney, who has such a lovely nature and brings so much joy to our Home. We are looking forward to seeing our friends again soon!
Helping hands
On Wednesday, some of our lovely residents joined in for a ‘Helping hands‘ session together when they enjoyed peeling carrots and chatting to one another.
These homely tasks provide a focus and sense of purpose and achievement for many of our ladies and gents, and it was lovely to see everyone smiling and chatting away as they peeled!
