On Tuesday 16 January our lovely residents and team here at The Old Downs Residential Care Home had a great time on our virtual mini cruise to Mexico.
We prepared for the trip by making our very own cruise ship. We cut the shape of a boat out of cardboard and painted all the details in carefully. We were very pleased with our finished piece and couldn’t wait to jump aboard!
Later we enjoyed a delicious Mexican lunch which featured nachos with melted cheese and Tex Mex dips and classic chilli con carne. This was followed by dancing to Mexican music and enjoying margaritas and churros.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Mexican cruise!
