Here at The Old Downs Residential Care Home, we love the little rituals that help shape each day for our residents. For Ann and Sonia, one of those special moments is their daily walk together. We’re fortunate to have such beautiful grounds surrounding our Home, giving them plenty of choice for their strolls.
Sometimes they wander through our gardens, other times they head up to our local village, or simply enjoy the bench just up the road from us. Wherever they go, what matters most is the chance to share time and friendship.
A simple 20-minute walk works wonders – refreshing the mind, lifting the spirits, and adding a bright spot to the day. For Ann and Sonia, it has become a cherished routine, made even more special by the friendly chats they often share with members of our local community along the way. How lovely!
