Bake and Taste
On Wednesday 29 November some of our lovely residents at The Old Downs Residential Care Home joined in for a Bake and Taste activity together.
They made some tempting Mary Berry chocolate chip cookies, mixing all the ingredients carefully and shaping them for baking. They turned out beautifully and were enjoyed in the afternoon with a nice cup of tea. Great job!
St Andrew’s Day
On Thursday, some of our ladies and gents had fun celebrating St Andrew’s Day.
To mark the occasion, we enjoyed decorating our conservatory with Scottish-themed bunting and making blue and white coloured paper chains.
Later we enjoyed listening to Scottish music and eating Dundee cake, shortbread and drinking lots of iron brew! We all had a great time raising our glasses to all things Scottish!
