Popcorn and movie afternoon

Residents at The Old Downs Residential Care Home had great fun on Friday 26 February making sweet and savoury popcorn, which they enjoyed during a movie afternoon.

St David’s Day

We had a wonderful time celebrating St David’s Day on Monday 1 March, with a creative arts and crafts session making colourful flags and daffodils – the national flower of Wales.

For lunch, our Kitchen team served a delicious chicken and leek casserole with a glass of Welsh stout. In the afternoon our residents ate traditional Welsh cakes and cupcakes with a nice cup of tea.
