Our residents have been enjoying regular Pet Therapy sessions with wonderful Daisy the golden retriever here at The Old Downs Residential Care Home. Daisy never fails to bring joy wherever she goes – and once she’s in, it’s hard for her to leave!
Daisy and her owner David visit us often, spending time with our residents as Daisy makes her rounds for cuddles, kisses and plenty of affection. Her gentle nature and friendly presence always light up the room.
Pet Therapy has such a positive impact on our residents, often sparking lovely reminiscences about pets they’ve cared for and the happy memories they shared over the years.
The only challenge we ever face when Daisy visits? Making sure our residents don’t spoil her with too many biscuits!
