On Thursday 13 October, our residents at The Old Downs Residential Care Home set about planting our seed bulbs and flowers.
They enjoyed adding soil to their pots and planters, sharing the satisfaction of a job well done. We are looking forward to seeing some of them in the spring next year, while we enjoy looking at the other ones now!
As it was National Parents Day on Thursday, we took a trip to a local Garden Centre in the afternoon where we enjoyed some yummy tea and cake.
We all loved looking around the displays and picking up a few more plants. A thoroughly enjoyable outing.
