Shopping trip
Last Tuesday 22 November a group of our residents from The Old Downs Residential Care Home enjoyed a Christmas shopping trip to B&Q in Gravesend.
Our residents loved looking around the shop and picking up Christmas decorations to make our Home festive.
On the way home we popped into Sainsbury’s cafe for a cup of tea and a mince pie.
Everyone had a great time and it was lovely to get that festive feeling!
Helping Hands
On Saturday 26 November some of our residents joined in for a ‘Helping Hands’ session when they enjoyed assisting our kitchen staff to peel carrots for Sunday lunch and chatting to one another.
