Basket planting
Last week our residents enjoyed starting their planting, getting ready for the summer season here at The Old Downs Residential Care Home.
They arranged their own baskets with flowers, using their individual creativity. It was quite a messy business, but everyone throughly enjoyed it and we’re looking forward to doing more soon.
Relaxing pastimes
Our residents also spent time relaxing and resting after a busy week.
We all thought it would be a good idea to have some time to enjoy the simple things in life like colouring. This activity offered a good opportunity to sit quietly, enjoying each others’ friendship and keeping up our coordination skills.
We all thoroughly enjoyed this peaceful time together.
