On Wednesday 17 March at The Old Downs Residential Care Home we celebrated St Patrick’s Day with a morning of arts and crafts when we made shamrocks and enjoyed colouring.
For lunch we served pork slice in gravy, Colcannon potato with cabbage, spring onions and broccoli, cauliflower and sweetcorn. Dessert was rhubarb crumble and custard, which went down a treat! As did the Guinness!
In the afternoon our ladies and gents enjoyed Baileys, chocolates and a Quiz about Ireland which was great fun.
