Last week on 27 February, some of our lovely residents and team members here at The Old Downs Residential Care Home joined in for arts and crafts. We made our own collage for ahead of St David’s Day which was on 1 March. Our ladies and gentlemen loved painting and working together.
We held lively St David’s Day celebrations here at The Old Downs, marking the occasion by making our own Welsh cakes. Our residents enjoyed mixing up the ingredients and cutting out the cakes. Later in the afternoon, we devoured our Welsh cakes with a cup of tea while listening to traditional Welsh music.
We all had a lovely time!
