On Thursday 22nd November, our residents, relatives and staff at The Old Downs Residential Care Home had an Indian-themed day.
We had a wonderful Indian meal, which went down a treat with everyone.
Our delicious Menu included the following:
- Starters – Onion bhajis and meat samosas
- Main – Chicken Korma, Pilau Rice, Bombay potatoes and Shammi kebabs
- Dessert – Ice-cream with cinnamon apples
After our lovely meal some of our residents and staff dressed up in traditional Indian wear which was kindly lent to us from Gemma, one of our Health Care Assistants. They danced away with some lovely Indian music with our Recreation and Wellbeing lead Vira.
