Birthday wishes
Last week at The Old Downs Residential Care Home we had a fun-packed time with our resident Trudy who turned 99 years young!
She celebrated with her family, our staff and our fantastic singer Kevin Walsh who came in to entertain us for the day. Trudy loved her decorations, flower bouquets and wonderful pink-iced birthday cake. She also got a fantastic framed poster which detailed popular songs, films and facts from the year of her birth, 1924. She shares her birth year with Benny Hill, Marlon Brando and Lauren Bacall no less!
Happy anniversary
We were also delighted to celebrate Daphnie’s 59th wedding anniversary with a garden party with her family and friends. It was lovely to see her surrounded by loved ones and having celebratory drinks.
All our residents had a fantastic time celebrating these wonderful occasions.
