On Sunday 10 July we hosted a Wimbledon party here at The Old Downs Residential Care Home to coincide with the Wimbledon men’s final.
We decorated our lounge in Wimbledon colours and our residents and staff loved watching the exciting match between Novak Djokovic and Nick Kyrgios, which went to four sets.
We served strawberries and cream, cream sodas, cupcakes, ice cream and Pimm’s and all had a lovely afternoon. How very civilised!
