We came together to celebrate ‘National Day Of The Tropics’ on Tuesday 29 June here at The Old Downs Residential Care Home.
As a tasty treat for our residents we made tropical smoothies, blended with fresh orange and coconut milk. The smoothies went down a treat and looked excellent with our exotic straws!
Continuing the international theme, on Thursday 1 July we marked Canada Day by serving traditional pancakes and maple syrup.
Our ladies and gents loved being with one another and the sweet and sticky pancakes were a big hit with a nice hot cup of tea. Delicious!
