Grand National hats
On Saturday 14 April some of our residents started preparing their hats for the Grand National here at The Old Downs Residential Care Home.
As the horse racing was a grand affair, our ladies felt they had to make a special effort to look as grand as they could!
Everyone loved making their hats and wearing them for the races – and lovely they looked too!
Barney visit
Last week we also had a visit from Hazel and her beautiful dog Barney at our Home.
Our ladies and gents loved stroking Barney and chatting to Hazel over a cup of tea. Barney has such a calm, charming nature and loves all the attention he gets from everyone. Such a well behaved and friendly boy.
We all had a lovely time and hope they come back soon!
