Last Friday at The Old Downs Residential Care Home, our lovely residents joined in to decorate cupcakes together.
We started off by making the icing which was a delicious mixture of butter, icing sugar and pink colouring.
Our residents then enjoyed decorating their own cupcakes using our piping bags and adding sprinkles; for some it brought back memories of times with their families at home.
The delicious creations were later enjoyed with a cup of tea – scrumptious!
We look forward to doing this activity again soon.
