Last week on Friday 25 March, some of our residents here at The Old Downs Residential Care Home joined in to celebrate Greek Independence Day.
Our ladies and gents throughly enjoyed listening to Greek music while sampling traditional Greek food.
We had Halkidiki olives, feta cheese, stuffed vine leaves, pickled gherkins, pitta bread and a variety of dips including tzatziki, taramasalata and houmous – with traditional baklava for dessert!
