School visit
This week our residents at The Old Downs Residential Care Home enjoyed a lovely visit from a group of children from Hartley Primary School.
The children brought some crafts with them that they had made and this proved to be a great ice-breaker. Our residents also sang with the children, as well as showing them a few tricks of their own!
Both our residents and the youngsters had a wonderful afternoon together and look forward to seeing each other again soon!
Church service
This week we’ve also had members of our local Pentecostal Church visit us for a worship service.
Our ladies and gents enjoyed the preaching and singing which proved to be a firm favourite with them.
