On Wednesday 21 June we celebrated World Music Day during the morning at The Old Downs Residential Care Home with some musical instrument fun, playing along to some tunes.
After dinner we welcomed Kevin Walsh to our Home who delighted our residents with his engaging songs and wonderful personality. Good times!
Wedding celebrations
On Saturday 24 June Daphanie celebrated her nephew’s wedding at our Home as she was not able to travel to attend in person.
To mark the special occasion we held a tea party for her with her friends when she enjoyed sandwiches and bubbles, and was able to watch the wedding on Facetime.
She really enjoyed her day, full of emotion.
