“A glass a day keeps the cardiologist away!”
On Friday 18 February, some of our residents here at The Old Downs Residential Care Centre joined in to celebrate ‘National Drink Wine Day’.
Wine and dine
To mark the occasion, we celebrated with a cheese and wine tasting afternoon. We had a selection of cheese to complement the wine, from blue cheese and brie to Boursin, through to smoked cheese and Marmite cheddar.
Our ladies and gents thoroughly enjoyed socialising with each other and sampling the cheese and wine.
