Over the last few weeks we have been busy preparing for our Italian Day, as part of Around the World with Nellsar Cruises, here at The Old Downs Residential Care Home.
Some of our residents have enjoyed colouring and painting Italian-themed canvases, featuring icons of Italy including Venice, gondolas and pizzas.
We have also threaded necklaces from pasta dyed in the colours of the Italian flag – red, white and green – which we’ll wear as we arrive on Italian shores!
